Workshops
This program aims to equip students and early professionals with an opportunity to develop their skills, personality and leadership qualities.
A multimodal approach will be used to deliver the content. Videos, activities, role plays, stories etc. will be included. This would ensure that learning is made fun and the students remain engaged throughout the session.
The participants would get exposure for holistic development and developing soft skills through these workshops. These skills would help them succeed in academic, co-curricular and career related endeavors in future, and help them stand out from the crowd.
Program Objectives
- Financial Literacy- Using interactive methods to enable students to handle money and finances better.
- Menstrual Hygiene- Creating awareness about the essential practices and the scientific facts about menstrual health, thereby debunking myths and reducing the stigma surrounding this crucial topic.
- Public Speaking- An interactive session with tips for effective communication, and an opportunity for students to volunteer and speak in public.
- Time Management- An important skill shall be enhanced in students by introducing them to various techniques to improve their efficiency using hands-on techniques.
- Anger Management- Anger management and self regulation shall be taught using role plays, short stories and effective yet simple techniques that can be easily applied in daily life.
- Good and Bad Company- Students will be made aware of the importance of their companions and friends by various interactive aids like short films, stories and role-plays.
- Patience- The value of this important virtue will be elaborated through short moral based stories, and discussions of personal stories in order to make the topic relevant and interesting to the students.
- Career Guidance- Different fields will be introduced to the students along with the administration of suitable psychometric tests to help them identify their aptitudes and interests.
- Community Hygiene- This is an important duty that the students will be made aware of and they will be given an opportunity to make a difference in their community by making appropriate changes at their level.
